Surprise Your Visitors
Landscape designs shouldn’t happen by accident. Surprise your visitors by including unexpected touches. For instance, use different doors for the gates that lead into your yard that look different from the doors that lead into other parts of your property. Paint your fences and their rails different colors, too, even if you use the typical palate associated with fall.
Use More Colors
Bushes and trees can boost the color in your garden. Your landscape can also benefit from this. Try finding the Dancing Peacock maple, and colorful pots to hold other smaller plants.
Mix Perennials
You can also try combining different perennial and annual flowers together. One such perennial is northwind panicum. Spruce these up with hardscaping elements like boulders. This accentuates the look of the flowers, especially when the little bit of sunlight left hits it and dazzles anyone who comes over to visit.
