The right outdoor lighting can really enhance the look of your pool. Along with looking cool, lighting can also make the pool safer at night. On those balmy summer nights when it’s still eighty degrees at nine o’clock, it’s fun to take a dip before getting ready for bed. However, if there’s not enough light you risk slipping and falling. Make sure the area around your pool is nice and bright!
Fire Features
Think back to your childhood a little bit. Almost all of us have some sort of fond memory of talking around a fire. Maybe you went on an annual camping trip with family and friends, or maybe it’s the silly songs you sang at summer camp. By adding a fire feature to your patio, you create a social space to dry off and talk after a day in the pool.
Water Effects
Another great way to add some flair to your pool is to use lights in the actual pool itself. You can use all kinds of different lights to create cool visual effects in your pool. Colored lights can be a lot of fun. Waterproof LED strips can be used to make the stairs safer. Larger, bright lights can be placed along the sides to make your pool light the night. The lights dancing through the water can be very relaxing to watch!
