If you want a specialty pool, such as a beach-entry pool, a concrete swimming pool is required to make it happen.

Concrete is well-known for being able to withstand just about anything nature throws at it without showing signs of deterioration or damage. This also means extensive use of the pool doesn’t run the risk of harming its longevity. As long as it is properly maintained, a concrete pool won’t have a problem standing up against the elements or heavy use.

The innate durability of a concrete swimming pool also lends itself to the pool’s longevity. Concrete swimming pools have a life expectancy of at least 50 years (many last much longer), while fiberglass pools are only expected to last 30 years at most. A properly-constructed concrete swimming pool is a great investment because, if it’s well-maintained, it will last you a lifetime.
